    so its finally 2009 and that's great and all, but doesn't that mean that cupcake SHOULD come out any day now... right?

    LOL. Don't hold your breath, brotha. From what we can see over at Google HQ, it's still in development, and all of cupcake is not guaranteed to get sent to G1 handsets as a firmware update.
