i couldnt wait and updated manually and have noticed my battery charge is very slow and sometimes wont charge past 70%. it shows that its still charging but wont show it going up anymore until i restart the phone and it shows that the battery is 100%.

ive read that some people experienced the same problems and they took out the battery and put it back in. i also did that and it is still happening.

can anybody shed some light on this? i dont want to regret not waiting for OTA

i'm surprised to see some people are still waiting for OTA i thought i was the only one

but i've experienced battery issues also and i'm still on 1.1, except mine will show its 100% all day until it dies so i have to restart my phone when this happens seems like the battery and the phone aren't communicating well

you would have gotten the same result from the OTA, as this is the OTA file.

try draining your battery completely.

will downloading and installing this update create any issues? Like im just worried that its different then the one their rolling. anyone want to reinsure me that my baby will be ok please.

i have a quick question that might sound alittle noobish to some but if you manually update would you still be able to recieve ota updates later on orwould you ave to keep manually updating everytime a new update was released.

when i was on 1.1 it was working perfectly until 1.5

ive had 1.5 for about a 2 days and ive drained it everynight before i went to sleep and it still happens. i guess i will continue to drain it and see what happens.

from what i have read from other peoples responses i think you would be able to receive future ota updates

yes the next ota you will still receive if you manually update right now

also g1_joker ....its the same file and there are at least 10 users ive seen who have had a successful install manually (though you can never be positive everything will be fine but it all depends on the user) and also make sure u have plenty of battery, if it dies in the middle of updating you are in a lot of trouble

i did the manual update it went well on my phone and my cousins phone until i rebootedmy phone and was stuck on the flashong android logo ive master reset and havent rebooted my phone since then i was just asking that just to make sure i would still be able to recieve future ota updates

to my knowledge if you dont have the 1.5 update you will still receive it OTA
