New contacts deleted

A week or two I added 2 contacs and they were both deleted. So I had to readd them. Lucky for me I had saved that info but what happens if i am getting someones number and add it to my phone but not write it down? Anyone have the same issue and is there a fix for it?

It happened to me once also. I picked up my phone one day and all my contacts were gone (still on sim card) so I had to resync my sim card to the phone, but all of my recently added contacts were gone.

This has never happened to me...but if you have the option to sync contacts on...shouldnt it automatically back that stuff up with google?

Yeah if it syncs with google it sometimes deletes the new contacts, your best bet, after you save someone on your phone, go on to your google account and put them in your contacts from there...

Tried it that way also and I think it did it once that way. I think it is just some kind of bug. Gonna have to get it on paper first.

Is there a solution for this yet... Every time i add a new contact it gets removed when goggle syncs? If i turn off auto sync the new contacts never get deleted, but as soon as i turn it back on they are removed ... It seems like the sync is only working in one direction
