Has anyone else had this problem?

A friend of mine has a server set up for email. I use it for my email. I got the G1 to connect to the servers and everything but it won't send emails for some reason (my friend says he and his wife experience something similar because of the way he filters IPs). Fine. But I can't delete it from the Outbox folder that, as far as I can tell, only exists on my phone.

Am I the only one who would want this feature? I can't even choose the email to read it and/or delete it.
