For those of you who have gotten a myTouch, in case you haven't seen this tip....

From the Home screen, if you long press the Menu button, it will bring up your virtual keyboard.

Start typing the first or last name of a contact you want to find, and it'll bring them right up! No need to open up Contacts program!

Haha i learned something new about my g1 today

when you want to add something to your virtual keyboard dictionary, press and hold the word on the prediction line to add it to your dictionary and add preference to that word when the key combination is typed in the future..


to get into the hard reset menu

.Make sure the phone is off

.Press and hold the home and back buttons

.Briefly press the power button to power the device on

.Follow the on screen directions


To get into Fastboot on the mytouch

.Make sure the phone is off

.Press and hold the down volume key

.Power on the device
