I am still getting the phone.

Couple of things I was disappointed is the following...

No tethering
1 GB internet limit
No white for the pre-order

Come on T-mobile, AT&T offer at least 5 GB so why limit it to 1 GB? I am willing to pay more if I can at least have 5 GB.

I was hoping to get rid of my Blackberry but it looks like I will keep it because I need to have the tethering option. So I guess I will just switch the SIM card back and forth between those two phones.

I guess I will be in line at the store when it comes out so I can get white.

I was hoping to use the phone alot for the Internet but because of the 1 GB, I guess not.

Haha yeah the sig had me wondering what was going on. I was gonna be mad if I pre-ordered and had to wait for 22nd if they were coming to the stores 10/1.

I'm not scared about the 1GB cap. Unless they release some statics of how much the iPhone users use per month compared to the caps, and those users being the heavy users, 1GB should be fine.

Yeah, how much is that really? I mean I use my SK browser A L O T, and barely crack 100mb, granted that's not on 3G but I can't imagine it being that much more.

Unless you're downloading torrents, youtubing once every 3 seconds and texting 24/7, I doubt you'd hit the 1GB cap with light use on 3G.

Hah, I was wondering if I would be able to download torrents on it. I'm sure somebody will write something for that. Hmm, maybe I should take a look at the dev kit! Haha.

But yeah, I send thousands of text messages each month (4500+ usually) and again barely crack 100mb even with a lot of browser/email/IM usage. I don't think the 1GB cap will be that big of a deal.

I called customer care and they said they "thought" the 179 price was a pre-order special, but they didn't know for sure because pricing info is so up and down, it can change at any time.

As much advertising as they are doing at the price of 179 it better stay the same
