    Default Music onto the Droid?

I figured I would just hook up my laptop and move my music onto the SD card, but it is saying "please insert a disk". I'm not sure if I need some sort of software to do this sort of sync or what. I'm totally new as I came from 3 blackberries. Android OS is completely new to me and I'm trying to get this down. I don't want to go to Amazon music and pay for music I already have. What desktop software should I have to work with my Droid? Thanks.

I had to download hot sync to connect. You can get that from WWW.HTC.com
