Hey all,

I've a blackberry user making the switch to a 'real' smartphone (Motorola Bionic). I've purchased the phone and started playing (I've got 14 days to commit and the clock's ticking) and the one piece I'm stuck on is email handling.

I've got 10 email addresses coming into my BlackBerry...all 'push' through gmail (google apps for my domains). Yeah, unfortunately, they're a combination of personal and small businesses that need to be kept separate.

I've read about the idea of forwarding them all into a single gmail address, but have seen the results of that and often see "From Fred@gmail.com on behalf of fred@fred.com", which I don't want to surface. But those were posts from 2008. Is there anything updated in that regard, or do Android devices still only support a single push email, and the rest POP?

As for the rest of my configuration, I've got Outlook running 24/7 and POPing to my inbox on my notebook. On POP, it archives the messages in gmail. That way, I can always view the un-collected emails in the gmail interface (displayed as new) or ALL emails in the All Mail folder. The Blackberry is pushed each message as it comes in to gmail, so that also has a full record of emails received. (I don't have the Blackberry delete messages on the server...I just use it for read and reply. Occasionally I just purge historical messages off it to save memory)

Thanks in advance for any thoughts/suggestions on how Android has evolved, or how to best configure for my environment!
