There is a whole thread on this somewhere i can't find, but when the phone first came out I had the same problem... the post helped me figure it out, but no one had written up the exact steps to do this.... since I'm just as lazy as everyone else... here's what i did in a nutshell and only took bout 5 mins...
From a windows machine:
1.) Log in to tmobile site where you sidekick contacts are stored online, USING INTERNET EXPLORER.
2.) get all your contacts to show on one page
3.) right click the page and choose export to microsoft Excel
4.) excel comes up, along with the window asking for what table you want to import, highlight your contacts table and choose import.
5.) this should bring all your contacts in to excel. save as whatever.csv
6.) go to microsoft outlook and export your contacts to .CSV (I don't use outlook, so I added one contact to the addy book to show the format I needed)
7.) open the exported csv from outlook, in excel, and copy paste the contacts in to the correct fields from step 4. save the csv.
8.) import the csv in to gmail using one of the guides in this forum somewhere. Contacts will be instantly sync'ed to your G1 (as long as your sync settings are on :)
That should be it...... someone should really write up the above so it's easier to follow :D
It may have been done already, but this was the easiest method I found.
Good luck!
