There is an app which gives you a blue flashing light for missed calls. Try searching the market next time.
I receive a green blinking LED notification whenever i get an email or a text.
However, if i get a missed call, i get no LED notification at all. I have no idea i even got a missed call unless i wake the phone and see the notification on the bar.
Is this normal or am i missing a setting?
Thanks in advance.

Use missed call, it'll let you choose which color blinks and how fast. It can also let you pick the colors for sms.
Do you not know the name of the app? Or are you just being rude and scolding the OP for not searching? You could have at least helped the guy out, AS WELL AS given him advice on searching the forums before asking questions.
As has been mentioned, an app called Missed Call will give you what you need, and then some. Different colored notifications, etc. I used to use it, but stopped when I got frustrated with my phone one after noon - uninstalled Missed Call, SMS Pop Up, and ChompSMS - becuase I wasn't happy with how my phone lagged every time I got an SMS...
But if you are just running Missed Call, I'm sure you'll be fine.
it sucks that you have to use "Missed call" for something that should be on the phone. anyways, i don't want to use missed call because i heard it messes with your notifications.. thanks anyways guys!!
I haven't really run into issues with my sms'es with missed call, except it lights up slightly before the message comes in the status bar. That's no big deal of course. I'm not using any other messaging apps and I'm not a huge texter.
I know the phone is missing things but it hasn't bothered me because I bought it expecting to be a beta tester. At least it's more stable than my friends iphone that decides to crash on it's own for no reason.
Oh and OP if you decide to go with missed call make sure to check the notification boxes. There's another app that you might want to check as well called blue light, seems more limited so I've never tried.
