Doesn't work on the G1 since those 16gb SDHC are not Microsd.

Ok so what exactly should I be looking for in a card? I'm confused with all these types.

I see Micro SD and Micro SDHC ones. So only the Micro SD will work? Whats the diff?

To work on your phone it needs to be a micro sd or sdhc, the hc means high capacity, and micro is th actually size of the sd card. In other words if it doesn't say micro, it's physically too big to fit in your G1.

Micro SD cards have a limit of 2GB. Micro SDHC (the HC means high capacity) cards as of right now can go up to 16GB in size. So our phones can use both Micro SD and Micro SDHC cards.
    hope this helps

Thanks. That helped me also. What do the 1,2,3,4 mean levels? Which number is the latest or fastest?

Thanks! Oh I know class, its 2, 4 and 6. It means the rate transfer or some such. You'll want atleast 4 from what other posters said. 6 is fastest.

Sorry, I thought the G1 was limited to 8gb? I just ordered a pair of 8gb micro sdhc cards from Amazon for $44 inc. shipping.
