Just ordered my phone!!! Less then 1200 left!

I just ordered my phone now I will be on these damn forums all the time. lol..

the tmobile rep said there was less then 1200 left... Also the crappy thing was I wanted to order the white one and I couldnt because they didnt offer it, so i went with black, almost got the brown, but really wanted the white. The rep said the reason why they didnt offer the white was because they where having issues with the paint chipping. Its a good thing they pulled it if that was the case.(one less thing Iphone follows can zip there lip about...lol.)

White paint??? Most of if not all phone components now days are either molded in color, hard anodized or powder coated . I highly doubt they are painting them, if they are thay are all going to chip regardless of color.

I envy all of you guys so much right now. I am stuck with a crappy RAZR from Verizon and won't be able to pre-order. Hopefully I will be able to grab one at my local TMobile store as soon as it comes out.

The Helio Kickflip was painted even though the plastic was white. Its very possible.

When I called in on Tuesday, a supervisor answered the phone and told me that they were "code black" and that they only had 25,000 G1's available for pre-order.

I was in parts management for LG Electronics mobile phone division, and a large majority of the parts were actually painted. Refurbed parts were usually repainted as well. A lot are molded the color also, but most (of LGs at least) were painted.

if they run out before i can pre order... i'm leaving the country and never talking to anyone again.... that wouldn't be right. I finally found someone with a full upgrade and am getting to buy it from them! ha! love it!
