put jf 1.42 rc33 on your sd card, go to recover, wipe your phone , and then flash with the build. or you can wipe and reflash with the 1.5 build again to see it things will work out
it hangs on the android silver thingy.
it'll "shine" for about 5-10 seconds, somewhere between that it'll freeze in the middle. then the android logo goes away and retries to boot. it does this forever. I tried removing battery and rebooting, same thing.
I'm going to try to re-install the JF...

mine acted odd too for some reason. i went back and flashed with JF1.42 RC33, then used jfupdate after updating the radio, worked flawlessly after that.
Remember, if it is your first time flashing 1.5, it may take upwards of 5 minutes for the phone to load up (android flashing).

ughhh, I fixed it but now... it started again after I restored my crap in MyBackup.
Does the pre 1.5 data not agree with 1.5? I hope not...
Hey lance give me 5 mins, and I'll send u a PM with what to do. The same thing happened to me, and at some point you have to press ALT+W, but don't do it yet, I'll PM you with the fix, I have to find it, cuz I can't remember it off the top of my head.
Are you talking about wiping the data with alt W and then re-installing the update.zip?
I did that the 1st time, it worked. My problem is that it happened again, after I did a reboot after restoring my data from MyBackup.
No you don't have to re install the update.zip, I didn't. I just PM'd you. Here the link to my part of the thread.

Read Several 's post on that page. Thanks again to Several!
Yup, thanks for your help.
But as I've stated before-- I've already fixed it the first time, I had it all up and running on cupcake and I was loving it. My issue now is... that I'm wondering if I should restore my pre-cupcake settings from MyBackup.
Was it a fluke, or are they not compatible? Because after I restored my data from MyBackup my phone had that issue again.
Sounds like they aren't compatible to me. I'm no expert, but I do have a knack for trying this stuff out and figuring stuff out on my own. My guess on this is that if you start having issues after you restored from Mybackup, that is the problem.
