jfrc33 vs Haykuro builds and how to help?

ok atm I am running jfrc33. But I badly want a video recorder (gonna be dissecting a cat in anatomy and wanna film it lol)

but I dont know what I'll lose when going to Haykuro's builds. Will i still be able to use aHome? and I have no idea how to go to one of the builds. I know that theirs a google build and a HTC. the HTC seems to be the better one?

am using ahome right now on the htc build, working great, running really fast. no problems at all for me

well i want it now lol. but im stupid when it comes to this stuff. which file(s)? did you download and is their a step by step guide on how to do it?

well if your already on jf rc33. jus perfrom a wipe, download one of the builds from :

rename it update.zip, put on root of sd card. you probaly know tha rest

but I see a crazy amount of builds. which one? lol

and its been so long since i've upgraded to root. what are the keypresses on g1 to wipe?

also, THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT PART. I DO NOT HAVE A DATA PLAN so I CANNOT activate it. will i need to activate my g1 again? because last tiem I had to go to xda and do the tut to activate phoen without sim card.

depends which version u want, the htc build or the google build. htc's UI is a little better looking. id suggest the htc build which is 5.0.1h and if u want apps to sd, choose that version of it. to go into recovery power on holding the home button.

then a menu should come up. alt - b for nandroid back up. recomended! then alt -w for wipe. then alt -s for update

if u have wifi u can activate it over that. as u can skip the initial sign in process.

yupp 100% as thats what i did, i aint got a data plan either

o yh once youve installed it, when the android appears where it says click to continue, make u set the default language to english. (theres an option for it)

and when it says apps 2 sd. does it automatically put all my apps on the sd card? and also with theses builds can you put the cache on sd card still?
