JACKSONVILLE FL has 3G!
I didn't see anything in searching that stood out as to be a thread regarding new 3G areas, specifically Jacksonville, FL, so forgive me if this has been posted already... BUT:
I just now, a few minutes ago, after pulling my phone out of airplane mode, saw it flash to 3G right before going WiFi. I was stunned!
Checked my wife's MyTouch 3G, and it was still on edge, so I turned on and back off "2G Only Networks" and it connected to 3G, so this has just happened! Asked my father in law to check his, and sure enough!
So I checked t-mo's website, and it still shows no 3G here, so this must be brand spanking new!
Shame, my first 3G experience though was just a couple of weeks ago in Athens, GA... I coulda waited!
So, good news for Jacksonville! No more waiting!_______________

Did you go into Menu, Settings, Wireless controls, Mobile network settings, and make sure "Use only 2G networks" is not checked! Originally Posted by AfroAndroid

Actually it appears there are still spots still on EDGE. I have 3g at work but EDGE at home, near the river city marketplace.
