Is this really a surprise to people?

I ran a voice test as soon when i got signed up and it worked (not great but I imagine there are some sound settings I can tweak), which I'm assuming was through the cam, because I don't have a mic (that I know of) hooked up to this computer. But can't find the cam, yet. I just uninstalled and and now I'm reinstalling the driver software. I'll futz around with it a bit and see what I can come up with.

for some reason I figured buying an hp cam would be easy to install on a new hp computer. Thats what I get for making assumptions :/

Walmart also sells a couple of brands of Skype headsets with microphone, just in case your camera/mic does not work out. I think I got one for about $20.00 for my son when he went off to college.

He never uses it when we talk, though, since we he has unlimited T-Mobile-to-T-Mobile minutes.
