Please holla at Steve Jobs. Let us know what he says back to you. It'll probably be along the lines of: "Here's your $100 monthly AT&T bill. And if you thought any of your information would be kept from the government's spying eyes, you were wrong."

rynosaur was being sarcastic. Basically what he/she is saying is if you go to at&t you will pay more per month and your calling info will be released to the government without much fight.

i'm not purposefully shoving attitude your way, its just the way i come across... you said you understood, and then responded with a contradictory statement right after that... frankly, you just didn't understand the point i was trying to come across...

open source is open source... this issue has been beaten to death and i completely agree with you if you'd rather get a phone that has a more estalished baseline... i don't care for apple, or their products... sure they're eye pleasing, intuitive, and bleeding edge, but all that comes with apples limitations and right wing way about going things...

1st gen iphone: no a2dp, no 3g, no gps, no app store, no open source... the list goes on

well i put it like this if i paid for something that is supposedly to be better than their competitors is showing flaws then i will wait until it is under scrutiny and operating to the max that is showing signs of perfection

supposedly... the only people that are comparing on a foundation level basis to the iphone is consumers, and other companies that weren't in on the OHA before the phone released or android was in development... google has set out to dominate the worldwide market with their free open source software... like i said, i don't blame you for not getting the g1, i'm not a g1 advocate... i'm a google/android advocate...

open source isn't an overnight thing and it wasn't meant to have all the features that you're sorely missing when it first came up to bat... google made the foundation, consumers/developers build the house up... worldwide technology revolution doesn't happen overnight, nor was it meant to
