Instant messenger Help?

The instant messenger is wokring fine... or so it seems i can talk to people and it is very responsive but when people talk back it shows up as from my self? example

(me to wife on msn) - Hey hon

(wife writes back) - Hey (but it shows up as the e-mail address i signed in with)

And does this with every one i talk to so when i "respond" it tries to send it to my lmsn name and wont?

Any ideas on what i may be doing wrong? Thanks a ton for nay help

Must be an option in the setting "Show me e-mail addresses" like in the PC software, not sure, still waiting my G1
