looking at the Android SDK and particularly the emulator, it ONLY uses the SD card for storing apps, photos and music. Maybe this is why the phone will come with an SD card included. BTW, it's MicroSD.
out of curiousity how much memory does a standard app take, I sure hope you can send it to the sd, since there will be alote of applications coming out.

I just bought the 8gb card just for this reason (I'll wait for a price drop for the 16gb).. Sooo hopefully you can download straight to the card.. otherwise, I'll have an assload of music on my phone..
Did anyone get a final answer on this??
