do i need to backup the stuff on my phone? is it going to erase the data on it?

it might when moving from adp 1.0 so yea go ahead backup your stuff.....do yorself a favor and read this http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...t3219972before you do it maybe it will help you...(why did you get a dev phone by the way? that would usually indicate you know what your doing...but you seem a little behind here...)

so i did the update, it installed, anud now it wont go past the android screen on start up...

copy it to your sc card (make sure it is just update.zip not update.zip.zip

power off the phone

turn it on this way: hold home and power

Hi.

I had the " dream_devphone-userdebug 1.0 UNLOCKED 116222 test-keys " build number with 1.0 firmware.
I followed your link and downloaded " ADP1: http://android-dls.com/files/jf/v1.4...43_Holiday.zip " because I have a developer phone.
I renamed it update.zip, installed it but now my phone doesn't start.

The robot keeps glowing but the interface doesn't launch. how can I fix that ?
