Ha ha! Very nice!!
.
Hi friends, It's now less than a day for your much awaited Android launch... So are you prepared well enough for the showdown?... No! Then you're at the right place at the right time....Here are a couple of tips that make sure that you don't miss any part of this Historic Moment in the History of Human Civilization. (If you are clueless as to what android is, you're embarassing me
. You need to get your grades up)
- Downloadthe Google Chrome Browser. If you had just given it a shot a couple of weaks ago & flushed it away, you need to get it up running again. There are going to be tons of live blogging sites covering the launch. Chrome sees to it that your 'reload' of the page is as fast as possible... In fact, stop reading this, install Chrome & start practising 'right click' + 'reload' ; 'right click' + 'reload'... it's sure to save your butt tomorrow..
- Check your local timings once again... you may be thinking it is xx:xx pm when in fact you may be late to the party by an embarassing 12 hrs.... Again, be double sure that you got your local timings right (factoring in all that DST settings & all...)... remember we are talking about History here & you don't want to cut a sorry face in front of you children/grandchildren tomorrow.
- If the launch time happens to be your lunch/supper time.... have your food ready well in advance... If you had a fight with your spouse recently, tonight is the time to win her over
.
- No bathroom breaks for a couple of hours.... Remember, excitement increases your sympathetic activity which in turn increases the activity of your kidney & lowers the threshold of your bladder. So finish your bathroom trips well in advance. Don't take your eyes off the screen for any reason... If the situation demands a bottle, so be it!
- If it happens to be during your office hours.... poor you!But don't worry, I've a couple of tips... meet up with your boss first thing in the morning & tell him that you'll be working your ass off on 'that important project' of his the whole day. And just for the back-up, have your friend spy on your boss's movements... (you can tell your friend that you'll allow him to play with your 'Dream Phone' before anyone else & bet! he'll be a puppy & licking your leg in no time)
-If you are the boss....you lucky dog!
-Block all the calls on your phone except the most important ones from your loved ones.... Afterall you don't want any Tom **** & Harry calling you"Hey what's up buddy....you up for a drink?" just as the Dream Phone is being unveiled.... What! your phone doesn't have this feature? You definitely need an Android!!
- Check if you have enough power backup incase of power failure... Make sure there is enough free disk space to store all those Android videos...no space?time to delete some porn!! Check all the connections of your system...your modem, speakers, monitor, everything...check if they are all functioning properly
.... Wait!! not now stupid, switch off your computer first!!! You may be laughing now, but you'll be thanking my ass tomorrow!!
- It's time to practice that, "I've got an Android now!" expressionthat you always wanted to give your iPhoney friend who for no reason takes his phone out of his pocket. All that flashing will have to stop once & forever!!
-If you are one of those 'I'm the first to comment'on YouTube, this is your key to immortality.... There will be tons of videos of Dream Phone on YouTube which will be watched by millions of people, million times over. Catch hold of as many videos as possible & be the first to 'comment'.... Remember, one day, there maybe some documentary on Android on Discovery Channel, & you'll have a fair chance of making it there....(even if you're one among the top 10 to 'comment'.... given the significance of the event, well done you!!!
)
uuffffff.....That's it!! No more bull****!!thanks for reading this .... i hope you enjoyed it.... Goodluck for tomorrow....
PS: If you want to add something/comment, please feel free!!

Damn GreenLeaf! Have you been spying on me or what? How did you know all my tricks to be up-to-date with latest Android information?
haha this just made my day... and my day was pretty crappy.. thanks and i will keep some of these in mind
I'll be at work, unfortunately, in a very large building where my T-Mobile signal just barely makes it. SOOOO, hopefully I'll be at the computer since phone browsing will be spotty.
Same here, big building, spotty signal... So i will keep IE (sadly) open and just refresh when i get a chance, but i will be def on top of itone more dayyyy... i just hope they make the G1 available SOON! like 2 weeks tops hehe
yeah i'll be at work also, and will be using IE unfortunately....
Just a side note for people to remember, it will auto refresh. No need to refresh or keep checking.
