Sorry! I am asking for your help!
LOL. Good point. I think it's a request. I doubt there's a setting for this, since the vibrate is a lead weight on an electric motor... MAYBE there's some way to write software that accesses the driver for that motor directly (used to have a phone that used the vibes to augment the ringtones, like a bassline, at different frequencies and stuff...), but that's not a setting you have in the phone, to my knowledge. Maybe someone can'will write an app?

Please don't tell me the vibration is weak... The 8-series BlackBerries were plagued by weak vibrations! They were so weak that, if I use a belt holster, I usually put my hand on the phone while walking. The 7-series BlackBerries were nice and strong. Is this a new trend or something? I would be very disappointed if I have to hold the G1 in order to feel the vibration![]()
Hmm, my BB 8100 feels fine to me, there are a few occasions (usually after driving) when I look down and realize I missed several messages... I'd be fine with the vibrator if it matched my 8100. Personally I'd prefer not to be buzzed to death by the vibrator.
That said, if it's a trend it likely has to do with smaller phones holding more features, leaving less space for larger motors to do the vibrating. My experience with the G1 is that it's a very solid phone, as if every bit of free space inside is being taken up by the electronics (And I wouldn't put it past this thing), and that's a good thing IMHO!
Can anyone compare the vibration on the G1 to a RAZR V3R? That's the phone I'm upgrading to and I'm more likely to hear the vibrator motor than feel it. Not only does it make me miss calls but I've got this really annoying phantom vibration feeling in my leg for the past year or so.
Oh no, not a week vibrator!!! lol...
But seriously,, I need both loud a loud ringer and I need the vibrations to be strong.. So far, I have heard that it hat neither... I do not like that.. But I guess I'll find out tomorrow if this is the case or not...

I noticed many new email when it was showing the email notification but I do not feel any vibrate while it was in the case on my waist. I think it will not vibrate in every new email while it was already in the email notification once time!
Am I missing something?
