HELP my G1 has completely stopped working!

I was browsing the forums with my phone, all of a sudden the screen starts to dim and then it turned black. At first i thought it might have gone to sleep mode but after trying to unlock it nothing was happening. I tried turning it on and again, nothing. I tried to charge it and the light won't even come on. I tried removing the batter for a few minutes and charging it, still nothing is happening.


This is BS.

Check manual or call customer service to see if there's a hard reset.

the hard reset requires you to be able to scroll through the screen and clear the storage. The soft reset is just turning it off and on. Go to a dealer and make sure your battery didn't give out. If all else fails, there is a warrenty on the device. Within the first 14 days of owning it, you can return it for a new one.

i still had about 30% left of battery

Sorry to hear what happen. This is the worst nightmare ever!

All you can do is go the the T-mobile store and have them send it back and they will send you a new one. You probably won't get a replacement until November 10 and after.

Dont worry T Mo will replace it, call CS and get an RA - Send it back via UPS and call CS again with the tracking number, i`m pretty sure they will send one out right away. Ugh I really feel for you, sorry

Well, there's your problem. You've got some batter in your phone and I guess electronics are not very comfortable in batter's company.
