Default HELP! G1 SD Card Problem

Today, my G1 phone all of a sudden had a SD Card "Blank" problem..

it says "SD card blank or has unsupported filesystem"

I already tried to format it, but it didn't really work. Then i put in a NEW 4GB SD card and it still says the same thing.

Help please! If anymore info. is needed just reply back.

how did you try to format it? try formatting it through the phone. go into the main settings, press sd card and phone storage, then press format sd. if the card is good, it should work after that. be sure that the sd slot door is closed really well.

Sounds more like a hardware problem to me. If the card works fine on another device (i.e. your computer), but no cards work in your phone, then your phone has the problem.

every now and then the card reader in the phone/piece under the daughterboard can get fried. ive come across a few and no matter how many times you refresh the firmware or try something new it will keep being the sd reader in the g1 thats why i ask
