google search widget problem

Whenever I use the google search widget from the desktop, I just get a blank google results page. If I hit home and try again a few more times, I eventually get results. Anyone else experience this?

Glad it is not just me. Now how do we get this to the people who can fix it? ;-)

Just an FYI - I am still on RC29 if that makes a difference.

I'm on 30 and I have the problem. My coworker is on 30 and doesn't have it.

Sometimes clearing my browser cache helps, sometimes just retrying it from the home/desktop several times makes it work. But more often than not, I get a blank results page (no "content area", just header/footer).

delete the search widget (do a long press on it, drag it to the trash can) and create a new one (long press on the desktop, then --> widget --> search). that has fixed this issue with some other people who said this happened after the RC updates.

this could also be intermittent data issues.. I know I would get a blank page when data was down.. so could just be that also.

Glad that has fixed it for you, but the fact that it has, confuses me. I deleted the search widget the first day I got my G1 - right after deleting that big ugly clock.

And sometimes when searching google using the built-in search button (whether I'm on the homescreen before, or already on the web, or wherever), it happens to me. Google links @ the top and blank white page.

So the problem obviously has nothing to do with the widget itself - at least in my case.
