Default Google Licenses ActiveSync : Translation: Exchange Support

Google today announced they licensed ActiveSync. What this means is Google can use proper sync technology to Exchange or to ActiveSync/Sync ML Clients (similar to what other non Blackberry Exchange services use). I'm hoping this gets tied into Android fairly quick and NOT just to the announced Google Sync Service: http://www.google.com/mobile/default/sync.html

That's awesome news! Google's going to be knocking down a few more apps after they've implemented this. First SaveMMS and aTrackDog, now TouchDown and the upcoming Aardvark Exchange app!

Haha yeah i'm not worried about that. Google already tried setting stuff up using my main data provider and they wouldn't allow it since Google wanted to open the information up to everyone. I feel pretty safe!

this is great news as I had a TON of addresses on mail2web from back in my WM and BB days.
I HATED transferring all my contacts over, so I kind of just picked and chose who I'd add to gmail and who I wouldn't.. I can catch up with the world once again.
