Hello,
My wife's G1 (No Data Plan) on RC30 was able to access the Google Calendar without the data plan, when I force updated her phone to RC33, she is now required to sign in every time for Google Calendar. Did something change that doesn't allow offline use any more? Would going back to RC30 be possible and fix her issue or would rooting her phone fix the issue?
I searched but was unable to find anything through Google or here.
Thanks
I'm not really sure why that would happen, Kurashima.... hopefully someone that has experienced this will be able to give you some advice.
This may be a know issue that Google is working on. Read this and see what you think.

Thanks everyone so far for their help. I understand what your saying benthomasg1, but she was able to access the calendar on RC30 with no problem. The news talks about HTML5 for Offline Access for Google Mail (Gmail), but as a new feature not fixing something. Though I thought about it, maybe with RC30, there was a bug that allowed Offline Access and they fixed it with RC33. Can anyone with RC30 try and access their calendar? Maybe different people with no data plan post their versions & (Including root or not) and if they were prompted to sign it or does it load their calendar.
Thanks
No one? Please help or point me to another forum that I may ask.

I would bet very few people here are still running rc30. And unfortunately those still running it would be lacking in the technical savvy dept.
I haven't heard of anyone with this problem. Do you have a g1 (with a data plan perhaps) also? If so maybe you could switch sims and see if that is the problem.
Thanks for the reply. Yes, I have a data plan and have switched SIMs then I was able to access her calendar though after signing in. I switched off Calendar Sync in both places and then switched back to her SIM card and was still prompted to login. I know this is not on topic but my wife wanted me to add she has been having problems with the dialer crashing.
Anyone without the data plan, can post wither they can access the calendar?
Thanks
