Getting it on October 22nd

Hey Android Community people,

Well, I was ready and set to order my beautiful T-Mobile G1 running on the awesome Android platform today for $299.99. I had a question about the plan formalities (weather or not the extention of my plan would effect other lines in my family plan) so I gave T-Mobile a quick call.

He told me that the other lines wouldn't be effected, and that was great news for me. He went on and tried to 'sell' the G1 a bit to me (As if I needed any more persuasion!) saying how many awesome features it had for the low price of $179. So then I got curious - maybe I could save some money off here. I asked him why it was asking me for $300 on the T-Mo site (even though I knew) when it was being advertised for the lower price. He said "Well, you seem like your eligible for the entire discount to me!" I was put on hold as he talked to his manager.

He came back and told me that on October 22nd I could call back and the G1 would be sold to me at full discount ($179!) which is obviously fantastic news.
He added the thing to my notes and told me to call back on release day and to order the phone through the representatives.

Now, my only concerns are A) weather on not T-Mobile will actually do this, and B) if the G1's will be available then.

Yep, got his name and I got his location. He said that would be enough.
If not, someone please tell me now so I can call them back tomorrow and get someone else's reference number!

11th on a 1 year contract correct? then your good to go

that's great! I hope it works out and I believe there will be G1s then... little elves are stuck in a whole forest of hollow trees churning them out right now!! (p.s....I hear it was the frosting they mistakenly used that messed up the white ones0
