g1 wont turn on

new phone on the way. thank god. although, it did take the tech support guy a solid 30 mins to conclude that if the power button on my phone wasnt going to turn it on, menu and shift and call and any combination of letters i decided to push was ALSO not going to turn on. his "try these keys this time" method allowed him for lots of time to ask irrelevant questions, i.e. so what was your high score on pacman? have you finished your christmas shopping? did you see that saving sarah marshall movie?

mines ding the same thing i read on other fourms that its a hardware problem and tmobile replaced it

i found a way to turn it back on this happened to me too...
1.take battery and sim card out
2.just put the battery back on then turn it on
3. after that remove battery and put sim card and battery and it would turn on immediately
...hope this works

Mine is doing the same exact thing and tmobile wont replace it. If you find out anything id love to know!
