Default G1: Autofocus or Fixed Focus?

The HTC site says Fixed. T-Mobile says Autofocus. Does anyone who has handled the device know which is correct?

    my opinion:

    image quality- 5 stars
focus time - 2 and a half stars
    image capture time 0 stars
    adjustable settings 0 stars
ability to crop photo easily- 3 stars
ability to organize photos 2 stars (only because picsay can atleast give you an extra folder option)
    barcode scanning usage - 4 stars/

overall- I will round up to 2 and 1/2 stars (thats not that good, most of this is fixable with some developers help.) because the only thing that would not be fixable is the quality (and I don't mind lack of zoom, I never use an optical zoom anyway, and I like being able to crop.
