Future of Android?

I was wondering what does the future hold for the phone. After seeing all these threads saying the phone sucks and this and that it gets tiring i have the G1 and i am one of the early adopters ( even though i got a great replacement after my first one sucked) i have been with the phone all the way. I just want to know what we have to look forward to. Anything will be great to know. thanxs in advance and sorry if this was already asked

All I can hope for is fixes for the obvious problems. I saw a thread asking if you felt like a beta tester, and I do to a point. I am sure a future update will fix things, but I like others have no idea when that will happen.

holograms, lots of holograms, thats my prediction for the future of android.

also if it somehow could transport me through time and space, I would be sold.

Some actual USEFUL applications, paid applications, and lots more phones running android which means lots more people on android whichh means lots more fun on android

Well, we are only on version 1 and it did have a slow start. It's not selling like hotcakes which I originally thought it will.

I am sure it will take off after a year. Maybe when G2 comes out next year around this time or when we start using version 2 of the OS.

this is what you do....come here.....a little closer....no not too close...yea there that's perfect......BUY THE FREAKIN PHONE OR NINJA CHUCK NORRIS ANDROID WILL MURDER YOU!!!! This is thee greatest phone ever made by mankind and trust me buddy being an Android only this phone comes closest to when Chuck Norris made me!!!! Don't ever doubt this phone again or I will seriously bust your teeth through your brain, reverse your entire skin inside out, wear it as a coat just to throw it down infront of my lady friend so she can walk on it instead of having to walk in the gutter water.

More phones, more devices, better apps. Lets really hope and pray on that last one. But, the G1 wont be the last to run Android. I'd say EVERYTHING will be running it cept iphones and some Windows Mobile hold outs.

Android is NOT the problem. Its mainly the limitations of the device by the manufacturer. The phone may "suck" due to some design flaws not the stack itself.
