Possibly because the site does not want to be affiliated with broadcasting how to hack software that is supposed to be paid for. I would probably suggest PM'ing that type of information, or if possible, e-mailing. Just my 2 cents.

Dunno what you're looking for... but those are all decent photoshop clones. All freeware or GNU licensed.

Basically I want to learn how to make these fancy signatures, among other things.. But seeing how I know nothing, and I do not know how much I would use these programs, I do not want to buy something like Photoshop.. yet..

Nice to hear that. Basically all of the alternatives above will do the job. I suggest reading some tutorials (following step by step instructions) will get you there making signatures and photo editing in general speaking.
