First OTA Android Update 10/23/08!

I hope the update gives us a pin number to access a bank account google has set up for all G1 users with billions of dollars in it. That would be a nice update.

There is an app coming to fix that issue.

One thing i noticed is that sometimes when i put it to sleep (pressing the end button) and try to wake it up by pressing the end key again or the menu it stays asleep and i have to press multiple times then it finally wakes up... anyone else having this problem? or is my g1 a sleepyhead?

One question about this, If there is more than one update before you get the phone, will they all turn up when you first get it? This would be relevant to anyone who is getting a delivery in the second batch or us UK People.

hope they fix the aim its super glitchy and some gps issues other than that im pretty happy so far

That doesn't happen to mine, but we can hope they fix it anyway! I hope they add an undo feature (unless it already exists......)

Sounds like yours is just a heavy sleeper, I wouldn't worry about it! It's had a long couple of days!

I had trouble turning the unit on this morning! It to 3 or 4 times to get it to stary up. Needless to say I will not be turning it off tonight

I can bet that this update is the official release of the android market and not just beta, if so RIPKILLER1 was the 1st to call it
