^ I'm actually curious about this too. So does this mean I can remove my unlimited text/picture deal for $14.99 since that'll be covered now?

If so then its like paying $20 for the "unlimited" data plan.

I actually called tmobile about this earlier, with the shared messaging plans, those will continue to stay on your account, so the rep said it would be cheaper to get the $25 data plan and keep the unlimited messages than to get the $35 plan.

The only time they replace your existing message plans are if you have an indivdual messaging package.

idawgik, it is interesting that a rep told you that. I personally called and had another tell me that on my family plan, the unlimited messaging would go away for everyone. The G1 would have its own data plan (while still maintaining the family talk plan) and the other lines would have to get their own unlimited messaging. I am not sure who to believe on this. The rep I talked to did not seem to know very much.

I have the $4.99 400 text messages but signed up for the Unlimited plan for $35 bucks as work is going to be paying for all that good stuff now.

I have the same $9.99 unlimited messaging plan and called T-mobile about the same problem. The rep told me that I could get the $25 plan and keep the $9.99 on all lines and this would allow me to have unlimited messaging on all lines, including the G1 w/ the $25 plan.

    Yeah----

I'm ditching my Blackberry Pearl for this phone as I've been following it for the past 6 months or so and it looks great. 22nd can't come soon enough.
