hear they might do a official launch of the dream on the 1st of OCT. The announcement is on the 23rd "tuesday". If that's true then there is a preorder a few days before that plus i read it somewhere said that preorder will NOT be done online

There is twice as many "rumors of the 23rd" from people actually at the show than there are 3rd part sources stating just about every date in October.

Oh an it has been confirmed not long ago that the G1 - Dream will be $200 with 2 year contract.

Will i be able to get the Dream for $200 if i already signed up for a 2yr contract. It's only been a month since we got it. I read somewhere that as long as I still have 22 months i'll still be eligible right? "Unfortunately only postpaid customers with 22 months of tenure for people on a 2 year contract..."

Yea you have to be in you 22th month or so to get a full upgrade. I talked to one of the guys at T-mobile the other day. You can do a partial upgrade, but I dont think that is worth it consider you have to sign another 2 years contract and the discount isnt that great. He did tell however that you can somehow call Tmobile corporate and ask for a discount without having to sign a 2 year contract.
