Just mount the phone to your p.c. and go to the DCIM folder and add a new folder, name it whatever, throw them in there and there you go.
Alright guys im not super smart when it comes to these things, but i just bought a HTC Hero and absolutely LOVE it...however...is there anyway to have multiple different photo albums or not? Because there is 4 folders..Camera Shots, All Photos, All Videos, and Wallpaper...Lets say i wanted to add a folder for cars or something, is there a way to do that or not? Any help would be appreciated...Thanks Alot!

or download a file manager use it to make a new folder and drop the files into it as you want to. but they initially are going to go to the same one folder each time.
i tried the mounting my phone one and nothing happend..when i mounted the phone and double click the DCIM folder, 2 folders pop up..one says .thumbnails and the other one says 100MEDIA, so i made a folder in there and NOTHING happened...i think im missing a step or something..does anyone know what im doing wrong? Thanks
The DCIM folder is my least favorite out of the Android platform it's such a mess. On my g1 I can do it easily, I'd even go as far to say that I have just thrown a folder on the root of the sd card and it was directed to my library.
You could download astro or (spelling error) estrong? something like that and do work from there. Just play with it, preferably just mount the make a few folders with a few photos here and there and see how it works for the droid.
Not meaning to be patronising... but did you put some pictures in the new folder you made?
no i didnt put any pics in the folder...i just named it cars and looked if the folder popped up and it didnt..another friend told me to put pics in there first and they should show up then...hopefully that works though
Yeah you have to put some pictures on the folder.
What the gallery app does is look on you SD card for any folders containing pictures. If it finds one, then it displays that folder in the Gallery app, and going into the folder in the Gallery app will show all the pictures inside it.
I like Androzip. I does just about everything you would need and it seems easier to use than some of those others I've tried.
