Do everybody help me with this error?

I have G1 phone in 3 weeks, when I install some software from android market such as adrink, compass,... those soft don't work.
For example,
In adrink: water in the cup do flow out when I shake or lean the phone. Just full water in the cup.
In compass: the screen show the compass image with Loading string, and don't run anymore.

Is it the fault of hardware or software? How can I fix it ?

Are you serious? aDrink and Compass got you complaining about getting your money's worth? I don't know what to tell you but maybe this phone isn't for you.

To answer, those apps are doing what they are suppose to, according to the comments.

It sounds like a software problem. My suggestion is that you email the developer of those apps.

this is pretty "loose" troubleshooting here. thus far, we don't know "what" specifically "doesn't work." al we know is you have downloaded a few apps and are having problems with them. i would check w/ those developers and read their FAQs.

it's very difficult to distinguish between user-error and actually technical issues without knowing more about what's going on.

does the G1 work in other capacities? can you use other apps? can you access other features on the handset? is it exhibiting any other strange behavior? did it do this out of the box? what did T-Mobile say when you called them?

if you download a simple app like "Ruler" or "Bubble," do you run into any issues running those?

Here's an easy fix.. hit your menu key, click on settings option.. then hit the SD card & phone storage option.. find the option that says Factory data reset and click that. Follow the directions and all will be good!

I think you have milk on the brain. You sound worse than a T-Mo rep!

Ceoceo39, Turn off the phone. Take the battery out. Take the SIM card out. Put the battery and SIM back in. Turn the phone back on. Try the apps. If they don't work uninstall those apps. Then go back to the market and install them again. Let me know how it worked.

Actually a factory reset is sound advice.. and the instructions were clear and simple. Especially for someone so challenged.. evidence shown by their grammar and spelling. Also there was the comment of dieing.

It's also FREE advice they can take it or leave it.

I don't know what either of these apps really do but it sounds like your complaining about the accelerometer. Does aDrink do anything when you tilt the phone?
