Cupcake available for non US users?

Hi, got my G1 from a friend who got it from T-mobile.
Its unlocked and rooted. I tried checking about->update and it keeps saying that im using the latest version. I have RC33 installed.

also would upgrading to cupcake lock my phone again? do i need to unlock it again?

I've read on another forum, if you've rooted your phone, it's possible you can't cupcaked it ..

If not, just make a factory reset...

just wait till the jf mod release comes out so you dont loose root. shouldn't be long

JF, Haykuro or TheDude all have images available. JF tends to base his from the retail OTA updates so wait for his if that's what you want. I installed TheDudes cupcake image (on a rooted phone) and I still have root. Haykuro's is good but I don't want the chinese language elements left in.
