Contacts will not sync

Did you ever sync them using another program like Mybackup?

For the past week or so mine wouldn't sync either. Yesterday it finally did, but it tripled all the numbers inside my contacts profiles

I have been having the same exact problem for at least the last few days, also ther was an error message.

My gmail won't sync, everything does. There's an error message saying they are having a problem with sync. But it only started this afternoon

I ran into this same problem. I read some other post (I used search but it wasn't easy finding what I was looking for.) and the course of action I took was to go into Manage Applications and delete the data on the MyFavs app. After I did this I turned off my phone (by pretending I was watching TV) and then turned it back on, went to Sync contacts and it worked, no error messages.

Now I never use the MyFavs feature on my phone and I have heard where messing with it might F-up the contacts on your phone so go cautious into that night.

Yeah I am haveing big problems I have all my contacts enterd into google mail. When I enter a contact in my phone it gets deleted when it syncs. It also adds people I have tagged in piccaso. I have switched the sync off for the moment I hope google sort this out soon.
