Car charger a must for this phone?

This might be hard considering I only have a motorcycle.

Hard for me toom since I commute by bus. Doubt I'll get the bus driver to let me charge it.

Battery drains really fast w/ use. It's a must have, I'm going to check if my old wing car charger will work with this. I don't want to short the phone out because this thing carries a different current.

Just be carefull of using any older model charger or one that was made for a sertain specific device, i have read that using certain chargers that are not @ the correct power output could damage your device, just a heads up

An Universal USB car charger will be more than enough.

I can not stress this enough, make sure any "charger" you plug into your G1, matches the manufature's included charger specifications. Otherwise you may cause severe damage to your phone or battery.

Are you sure that's a valid statement? The phone comes with a USB cable, which can charge the phone when plugged into a computer. Will all computers output at the same specs? Seems like that would vary in itself, which would debunk that myth.

I have a wall charger at home, a car charger and a travel charger at my work. I think im covered.
