Browser Opens New Window Every Time!!

My browser opens up a new window every time i leave the browser and come back to it later, it didnt do it before, I haven't changed any settings or anything and it gets annoying cuz I end up having like 7 windows open and always have to close them up, can anybody please help fix this, my brothers G1 doesn't do it so its weird

I don't know how, but I managed to do this somehow today too. However if you go into your Brower, then Menu > More > Settings > Reset to Default, the problem should disappear.

Could it be that you start the browser with an Anycut bookmark link? In that case, the link sends a new intent to the existing browser app, which causes it to open the page in a new window.
The same would happen in Steel btw.

Not in my particular case, I've not created any bookmarks with AnyCut.
The issue occured so I restarted my phone, went into browser and navigated to telegraph.co.uk. 1st link i clicked opened up a new window...
Anyway I resolved it with a Reset to Default
