well, power manager doesn't work, yet. i disable contact syncing, and run ambient light sensor to adjust my screen backlight. battery life is ok, can't decide if it's worse than pre-cupcake...
OK, since I installed Cupcake from JF, my battery life seems to have gotten much worse. Before I could easily get up at 5 in the morning and would still be ok at 10pm when I put it on the charger. I unplugged my phone this morning at 8:30 or so and I'm at 15% and red now. I've only made a couple of short calls.
What's the best way to figure out what the problem is and how to fix it? How do I determine what's running unnecessarily and how do I stop it?
Thanks

My battery life has gotten slightly better since I upgraded. I can take it off the charger at 7am or 7:30am and could be good until 10:30pm or 11pm with moderate use during the day and heavy use right before I have to charge it over night...
diable all the non important functions, sync is good but who you dont need to keep updating your contact, calender, gmail all the time, and it runs all the time, disable GPS, lower brightness
Mine is the pretty much the same since jf's 1.5 , maybe a tiny bit worse . But I have been using my post-cupcake g1 a LOT more lately also . And its slightly overclocked . I was hoping for better battery life![]()
if battery issue is a big deal, buy a expansion battery or a back up
mines worse now but i think its because i cant put it down now
