anyone who order on or after oct 3 have a track number?/Gps?

I doubt it but i just wanted to know. When i go on tmobile.com they don't tell me anything like if i order a phone nothing. Also on another note does g1 have gps? I checked some sites and looked at features but i didn't see anything about gps . So whats up with that? Is it there or not? Thanks

PS Sorry about typeing/grammer im typeing on my ipod touch.

Yes there is GPS, but not turn-by-turn directions like TomTom yet.

O sweet. But what is turn by turn directions ? Is it when the gps tells u to turn bc I hate that anyways. I used a Tomtom b4 and it was getting so annoying so I turned the sound off . So I don'tt hink I miss the turn by turn .

Just curious....what did you use the TomTom for? Ill agree that the sound was annoying(I turned the sound off too), but I need to know where to turn when Im going to an unfamiliar place. I followed the arrows.

meh i post alot from my touch. jrokwitdacapitals18 it must suck to login for you with that username lol. and yes gps is there, oct. 3rd people shouldnt have tracking numbers yet since they wont start shipping til about nov 5th.

Did anyone who pre-ordered before Oct. 3rd get a tracking number either? I don't think anyone has one yet.

Allegedly you will be able to track via UPS starting on Oct. 20th.....I'll believe it when I see it.

Um couple places like caps practice rink in VA , hockey rinks where I don't know how to get to, etc . But it was my friends gps . I get so pissed off at it bc sometimes it will tell me to turn but Ill miss the turn bc it's not 100 % accurate . Also I'll lose signal in tunnels which scewed me big time. I think in the future I'll get a germin gps bc I don't know how good the gps will be on g1.
