Anyone else not always receiving emails and/or texts on time?

Well my issue is that I just power cycled my phone and I just got 2 emails that were dated the day before, and before doing it one of my friends said that my phone is texting her over and over the same thing. And last night a text I sent to my sister didn't send until almost 6 hours later, and it even showed as the last text sent. There was no error sending it before but it repeated it. Also about 4 days after getting the phone, about 3AM I received texts from 3 friends randomly, which were obviously very delayed, but I was able to receive and send from other people the day prior. Anyone else having issues like these?

I'm using a Moto Droid.

Verizon doesn't have sim cards.

were your friends all on the same network? I have most of my friends on ATT (iphone junkies) and they have the sh*ttiest service. I don't get messages from them for hours at times.

If not, try pulling the battery.

Thanks for the replies. Trust me, I've pulled the battery plenty. It's been 3+ different days, even after battery pulls. I'm almost thinking my phone may have a defect. I hate exchanging phones. I used to work for Verizon so I know what it's like lol. But no other Moto Droid owners having this issue?

I'm having similar problems. My gmail comes in without delay but my exchange email account which is set to push some days will run 8-12 hours behind in delivery, other days without delay. It is not exchange server because it comes without delay to my pc.
Also, my email settings will just randomly reset to blank- very annoying. Sometimes during a power down or anytime. Is this the phone or Verizon?
