Transitions are looking good. The browser looks faster, smoother. I did load up the openintents.org website on my G1 in both Browser and Steel to compare the panning speed, but that site is really smooth in both web browsers using RC29.
Too bad the demo vid was not conducted on a more challenging and complex site. And still no zooming demonstration, but this time the zooming icons were present in their always in the way of carefree scrolling glory. Already looking forward to a Cupcake-ified Steel...![]()
Call me unobservant, but what I am missing here? I have the Development.apk (similar to the TweakDroid Tools that enables transitions), and it pretty much does the same as what these screens are showing, and I'm not really seeing much improvement in speed.
Screw Twitter, catch me on Plurk!
All you need in life : Love, air, water, a G1, 2 spare batteries and an unlimited data plan
Watch it again and take a look at all the UI animations. Like when he clicks the browser icon, the home screen slides to the left. Or when the warning popup message comes up, it like grows out (best description I could come up with this early in the morning). The OS is going to look a lot smoother after this update.![]()
I thought saving MMS attachments was important? (market: check)
Or getting a camera program that does more than autofocus? (market: check)
Will somebody please tell me what's important? I want to know what I should want to want from the cupcake.
I want to listen to all my mp2's with my phone. When is mp2 support coming?![]()
