Android sucks now. No multitasking. Really slow.

And as for the OP, you complained about valid problems, however the phone does multitask. The one example you gave was for the browser, which always refreshed when you leave and come back. However you can have multiple apps open at the same time and they will all stay open. And rooting is a valid solution to speeding up the phone, so if you dont want a solution, dont post about your problem in an open forum, if you do want a solution, root your phone.

I think what we are also forgetting is we are using a generation 1 Android phone.

I would probably guess that the memory on the phone is more of the problem than the id its self.

Let's all be realistic and accept that this phone has flaws just like. Every other phone

Just like I met a lady who hated her palm pre. She stated that it would lock up on her
and would not be useable for atleast 5 minutes.

To me that's a serious problem . But over all it proves my point .

But to answer the "why" part of OP's question, its becauee of Androids memory management.

I like the fact you're set out on me. Yes I feel very sorry for you for buying the very first Android phone which by all means in no way shape or form could ever possibly be a beta tester. Companies just shouldn't do that should they?
Do your research before you buy a phone.

Now go have fun spending more money on a new phone and maybe even a new mobile contract and possibly a cancellation fee from your current mobile provider because your complaining self can't put enough of posiitive spin in your words for anyone to actually want to willingly help you solve your problems because clearly here we're all people of good work fixing what we needed to where as you continue to sulk in what you believe is the downfall of the phone.

So you can continue to make personal attacks about GED education and whatever little nasty jabs you can throw in there because you can't seem to win on this Android form about your poor phone and how awful it is to have.
