Android sucks

Okay before anyone starts bashing.. i have had and reviewed almost every phone that has been out.

I have been using the G1 as my main phone and it's soo bad

Soo much lag, everything lags.. The worst lag is with messaging. it takes over 10 seconds to load the messaging app and ~5second to view a new sms.

The screen takes 5+ seconds to rotate when the keyboard is open. The lag and response time is soo bad, over twice of windows mobile.

Cannot send or recieve MMS to ATT numbers?? is there a block on either side??

I tried RC 30 and nothing.... Its not the phone because i have 2 of them and they both do the same thing

I want a phone that doesnt take this long. Also many times im on the phone and the phone rebots. it also sometimes freezes so i have to pull the battery out

My G1 doesn't lag...

And the Android OS owns...

Well it all depends on the individual.

What you may consider "slow" may be acceptable for others.

You are right though, there are lags, but take into account how new this platform is.

You must have a faulty phone, I have never had 1 of those problems with my G1.. Everything runs smooth as silk, my messages are extremely fast, and I can definitely send texts to ATT numbers...

If your phone reboots randomly, contact ****ing Tmobile and quit your bitching, I'm almost 100% sure it's your fault. Mine has never rebooted by itself or froze to where I needed to take the battery out. Talk to T-mobile about your faulty device before you come on here complaining about "bugs".

Any windows mobile phone has much less lag. I know for some people like you that dont use the phone to the full capacity may not care but im not exaturating the lag the phone has. i will record it on vid tomorrow so you all can see

my fauly? um no i have 2 G1's and it does the same thing on every android iv seen. as soon as u have more than 50 text in your inbox it starts to lag super


and i sms is fine, mms is where it has issues

some people use their phones as toys, I dont. I save every sms, pic,audio clip thru the life of the phone. So why should i be forced to delete any old messages, why cant i keep them all and still have the phone run smoothly.

And also when the G1 looses signal it takes a while to find signal again so you have to manualy search for service

i thought my phone was the only phone that reboots constantly.. i have all of the same exact things happen to my phone that happened to OP's phone (add force close on top of my already lagging messaging app)

..but i wouldn't say android sucks, in fact i don't know if its htc or androids fault, i do know there's an update coming soon, i'll see how that goes with jan right around the corner

Fail is having a poorly designed system that bloats its self when to manny messages are saved


I know how to fix it, by deleting all the messages, but why should i be forced to do that? it's not the device it the "BETA" os which google released. I think they should have fixed the bugs first. Every one is following this apple band waggon of selled halfassed systems and then releasing updates every few months
