I think ATT will prob be one of the last to bring on an Android device. It would be sweet if they did, but Im sure Apple is doing everything they can to persuade ATT not to get an Android device.
Don't fret too much. Remember this is new technology, some one will always say something to "kick the dog" per say. And big deal, maybe Verizon and Sprint aren't super friendly, AT&T will get android, just wait. Plus your just looking at the U.S. The European and Asian markets are HUGE. Android will live on, its just a baby learning to walk, the more you put it down, the harder it will be for it to get back up, but once it does, its going to be harder to knock it down again![]()

ignore the OP, android is not doomed.
Geeesh....chill, lol
No kidding. @OP, what exactly do you think is going to happen? The Android source code is going to implode from lack of interest? If that was a possibility, linux would have died in the 90s.
If nobody cared about Android and the application hadn't been built yet, then maybe it's future might be in doubt. We're way past this point though. the launch has gone well enough already to ensure there will be other adopters.
i dont think Android is doomed by any mean. Let it be Sprint, AT&T or Verizon, Android has got itwn own space and pace. Its not going to end just bcoz verizon or Sprint may turn its back towards it. Infact, the space Android is growing bigger, network providers are not able to manage . The recent Docomo and Google accusation is the real example of this. If Docomo is not able to sustain along with Android growth, how come Google is responsible for it !!!
I feel Android doesnt need them.....they need Android if theyt really want to win a long run game !!!! Oh yaa....Android will never be dommed
3 years later, I sure am glad this didn't come true!
Yes, I really hope this will not happen in the future.
