android browser tips

I don't really have any besides menu space bar goes to home screen (I know thank you cap'n obvious!) So I was hoping you all did. If the thread gets loaded with them I'll keep it cleaned up all to this first post.


If anyone knows how to make search settings like in chrome(and probably firefox) so that if you have the search set up to recognize say wikipedia as wiki you only have to type: wiki whateveritemyouaresearching into the search bar to make the shortcut. Is there anything like this?

Alt+Scroll ball zooms to the top...

tap on a text field (where there are no links) to center it...

I find it funny that the mobile version of this forum.. androidcommunity.. looks so crappy on android... it's all cramped to the left of the screen.

Actually there's a mobile version of the site I just found it trying out the alt trackball trick thanks for that

tap on a text field (where there are no links) to center it... very handy if you are a sloppy scroller like me

I do wish the browser would zoom out only to the extents of a page's content when you tap that thing that brings of the magnifier
