Thanks. I'm sure others can do better. Like most miniature cameras it seems to work best in direct sun with moderate contrast and is very sensitive to movement. The delay in shooting has fouled me up several times.
The Exif data have all kinds of interesting info. The camera is listed properly as HTC T-Mobile G1.

Image files are JPEG at 1:19 compression and around 600 KB. Most "good" cameras are less than 1:10 compression. Pixel dimensions are 2048 x 1536 (600 x 450 after upload to this website).
Location and time are given, so that if the GPS receiver is turned on you can get quite accurate lat-lon and altitude. I like that.
Give 'em time. For those of us who even have the phone, we're still deep into getting to know it, checking the market every day, and trying to answer all our questions. Coming from a Palm Treo, I feel like I stepped trough a door into a different world.
